In April 2020, as quarantine hit Manila, we were worried about the upcoming recession and thought about starting a side hustle.

During a chat about our “petty” problems, we realized we all needed a solution for body hair maintenance while stuck at home. Existing waxing options were either unsafe, expensive, or intimidating, so we decided to create our own.

And that’s how The Bare Kit was born.
