Since this is made up of wood, there's a chance it will get some mold especially if used inside the bathroom or kitchen. Molds usually live in moist and dark areas. It's advisable to regularly clean and dry soap dishes using a natural solution (mix of baking soda, vinegar, lemon, or Calamansi and water) then a final wash with lukewarm water.
